The discipline of physics is the branch of science that underlies all of reality. Physics is necessary for all things in the universe to exist, move, and interact with one another. Without physics, there is no matter, no energy, and no forces. There is no gravity between massive objects. No electromagnetic force. There are not even any forces to hold atoms — the building blocks of the universe — together anymore.
Without atoms, there is no chemistry. Without chemistry, we cannot observe biological processes. Without biological processes, we cannot study any organisms or their anatomy. Everything begins with physics.
Clearly, physics is fundamental to everything in our universe. This is why we believe that every student should take the time to understand the mathematics that allows us to express the universe through the laws of physics.
About Frank
Frank Gentilozzi is a young, aspiring physicist, with a special interest in particle and nuclear physics. He wants to study nature at the most fundamental levels to create a cohesive model of the universe — to create a theory of everything.
One of the most interesting conundrums in physics today is the incorporation of gravity in the Standard Model of physics. We can describe the interactions of the most fundamental particles and three of the four fundamental forces of nature. Those three forces are electromagnetism, the strong nuclear force, and the weak nuclear force. The fourth — and mysterious one — is gravity. As of now, it is hard to reconcile our current understanding of gravity with the quantum mechanical domain of the Standard Model. This is something that Frank aspires to solve one day.
Science has always been Frank’s passion. The raw mathematics and rudimentary nature of physics were always attractive to him. There is not much subjectivity or diversity in interpretation — the laws of physics are as they are, and you cannot possibly defy them.
Unfortunately, this nature of physics that was so attractive to Frank is unattractive to most students. That is because physics is hard. It takes a unique person to want to learn physics, but it takes a dedicated person to succeed in doing so.
For the students who need assistance in their physics and math classes, Frank is committed to their excellence and understanding of the material. If you show your dedication to learning, Frank guarantees you will reap the reward of knowledge.
